The Airport
Fly into Kansas City International Airport (MCI), the closest major airport to Sunrise Beach. From there, rent a car for the drive down — it's the easiest way to get around once you're here.
The Drive
From MCI, it's about three hours by car to Sunrise Beach. Plan to arrive with enough daylight to settle in before the week gets going.

What to Pack
Early September on the lake runs warm by day, cool once the sun goes down. Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, bug spray, and something warm for evenings by the fire. Comfortable shoes for grass and dock walking — heels will sink.
The Rest of the Week
We're at the lake September 1 – 6, 2026. The wedding is day one; the days after are unstructured — boating, lounging, card games. We'll share a group chat closer to the date to coordinate meals and activities.

Where do we fly into?
Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is the closest airport. From there it's about three hours by rental car to Sunrise Beach — see the travel notes for details.
Do we need a rental car?
Yes — we recommend renting a car at MCI. There's no easy public transit to the lake, and having your own car makes it much easier to get around during the week.
Where should we stay?
We've got one house for the whole group at 808 Las Campanas Court, Sunrise Beach, MO 65079. Let us know your arrival details in your RSVP so we can sort out rooms.
What is the dress code?
Garden Casual for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner — think light layers and comfortable shoes, since we'll be on grass near the water. Casual for the bonfire after.
How long should we plan to stay?
We're at the lake September 1 – 6, 2026. The wedding is on day one, and we'd love to have you for as much of the week as you can manage.
Are gifts expected?
Your presence is the greatest gift. If you'd like to celebrate with us further, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would be appreciated.
